Dr Jayant Karambhe is a General Practitioner based in Coonamble, NSW, with over 30 years of experience in primary health care. He currently works with Coonamble Aboriginal Health Services, providing comprehensive care to the local community.
His clinical practice is guided by a holistic, evidence-based approach that integrates lifestyle medicine strategies alongside conventional treatments — addressing the root causes of illness rather than just the symptoms. As an Accredited Practitioner in Lifestyle Medicine and Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM), he brings a deep understanding of how nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and social connection can transform patient outcomes.
Dr Karambhe holds fellowships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and serves as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at The University of Western Australia. He is passionate about medical education and has developed free, open-source courses to make high-quality clinical knowledge accessible to healthcare professionals everywhere.
Whether in the consulting room or the classroom, his mission is the same: empowering people with the knowledge and tools they need to live healthier, longer lives.
